Leslie Qualifies for NHS 4 nations tournament

Our own Leslie Edgar was persuaded by his boss to play in an NHS qualifying tournament at Moyola Golf Club last Thursday. The top 8 players from this competition represent Northern Ireland against England, Scotland and Wales to be held at the Kingfisher Golf Club (Templepatrick) in August.
Despite a large entry of keen, low handicap golfers, Leslie had a great score of level par on the front nine for 23 points. On the back nine he added another 14 points to post 37 only losing out to a 38 and coming second overall.
So he qualifies comfortably for the team and will now look forward to representing Northern Ireland NHS in the Four Nations tournament in August.
