Synopsis of Council Meetings 10th July 2023
The Captain Mr. Paschal Morgan welcomed everyone present.
Matters Arising from previous Minutes
Catering – Coffee van in car Park – Opening hours unsatisfactory. Caravan to be sold.
Condolences – Letter of Sympathy to Liam McCartan on the death of his sister, Sean Holman on death of his mother and Kristin Annett on death of his grandmother.
Sub Committee Reports –
Fundraising – Tickets for Big Draw are selling steadily. Members are encouraged to promote the sale of tickets and make returned as early as possible.
Tee sign Sponsorship – have been erected.
Greens
Louis Poland to be employed 25 hours pw for July and August.
Special machine to be hired at a date to be arranged from Mayobridge Golf Club to remove thatch on greens.
House
Disabled Parking Space – Decision made at June meeting rescinded. To be used by disabled badge holders only.
Catering Opening hours to be addressed. Interclub Team Meals to be ca0ped at £15.95 to include Tea & Scones if required.
Match & Handicaps – Sunday competition (9th July), sponsored by D. Fitzpatrick rescheduled. Date to be arranged.
Congratulations to Lee Annett – Hole in One at 5th Hole.
Juniors – Temporary membership for July and August to be offered to members relatives.
