Kilkeel Golf Club – Summer 2023 Offers:
None of these offer options are available to anyone who was a member (any category of membership) of Kilkeel Golf Club during the previous 2 years 2021/22 & 2022/23.
These offers are for the Summer of 2023 only.
Option A – ‘Casual Golfer’ three months (July, August, September) for £275. (Play casual golf any time outside peak times, house membership included)
T&Cs –
Is 18 years or over
Not a member of another golf club.
Does not want to pursue an official World Handicap System Handicap Index at this time.
Abides by rules and regulations of Kilkeel Golf Club
Not eligible to book tee times at peak member times – (Sat up to 2pm, Sun up to 12pm).
Includes affiliation to Golf Ireland / KGC loyalty card for bar discount..
Option B – ‘Keen Golfer’ – three months for £275. (Temporary membership – play golf any time outside peak times, house membership included, pursue the possibility of an official WHS HI which would allow entry into club competitions.)
T&Cs –
Is 18 years or over
Not a member of another golf club.
Abides by rules and regulations of Kilkeel Golf Club
Not eligible to book tee times at peak member times – (Sat up to 2pm, Sun up to 12pm)
Must have 8 ‘returned rounds’ before being eligible for competition main prizes.
Not eligible for Captain’s Day main prizes or President’s Day main prizes.
Includes affiliation to Golf Ireland / KGC loyalty card for bar discount.
Option C – ‘Temp 2nd Club’ – three months for £275. (Temporary 2nd club membership – play golf any time outside peak times, house membership included, entry into club competitions as member.)

Is member of another golf club.

Not eligible to book tee times at peak member times – (Sat up to 2pm, Sun up to 12pm)

Saturday booking restrictions – If after 5pm on Friday, tee times earlier than 2pm on Saturday are available, they may be availed of by Temporary Summer members.
If booked out by a Full / Annual member and playing in their group, restrictions do not apply.
Temporary Summer members may invite 1 guest per round for ‘With member’ rates.
Completion and submission of the online form will send a copy to The Club and also a hard pdf copy to the applicant.
In line with normal club applications a proposer and seconder will be required to sign the hard copy form and also a character reference from the first proposer.
Upon submission of the hard copy form and reference and payment of the fee, Temporary Summer members may utilise the course prior to the normal Council election approval.
No scorecards for Handicap Assessment may be submitted until full approval of membership is completed.
Full approval is required for option B & C prior to competition entry as a member.
KGC Council may decide to suspend offers at any time.
