Synopsis of Council Meetings 14th August 2023
The Captain Mr. Paschal Morgan welcomed everyone present.
Condolences – Letter of Sympathy to Colin Knox on the death of his mother, Neil Cousins on death of his father and Gary Phillips on death of his mother.
Sub Committee Reports –
Fundraising – The Big Draw is the main fundraiser of the year. Members are asked to do their best in selling the tickets and make their returns as early as possible. BBQ scheduled for 26th August – to include music.
2 Advertising boards on fence at putting green have been confirmed.
House
Catering Hours – Thursday, Friday, Saturday 12 noon – 9pm Sunday 12 noon – 6pm. Catering for Societies etc. outside these hours can be made available with prior arrangement.
Match & Handicaps – C R Morrow competition – 7th &9th September.
Leigh Campbell & Glen Whyte’s Competition to be rescheduled.
Congratulations to the Captain & Lady Captain who returned the best combined scores at Royal Belfast on 28th July winning the William Blyth & Alana Patterson Trophy.
Juniors – Junior lessons have been completed.
